Lovely Genuine Ruby with strong Red shade and good transparency, faceted into an oval shape with a super strong claw setting which, with the open back, allows maximum Light and Energy to sparkle through the gem.

These stones come from Kanchanaburi in Thailand where they were mined for centuries until the mines dried up but luckily for us they've recently been re opened because I haven't seen this quality of Ruby at an affordable price before. 

Before purchase I tested the Refractive Index and thermal conductivity, and saw that they fluoresced under UV light so all looked good until I got home and put them in the light box.

Sometimes these natural crystals have small cavities in them which are filled with a special glass in a centrifuge which enhances the appearance of the stone and is undetectable to the naked eye. The Light Box revealed that they had been treated more than I thought so I've HALVED THE PRICE TO $249

This is still a genuine Ruby, it's just been artificially beautified.
